13-WEEK FINISHING SCHOOL
We are no longer enrolling students for this program.
Entrepreneurs, Politicians, Society Hostesses, Executives, Public Figures. Female Leaders of the 21st Century.
For those who demand only the best of what life has to offer, the 13-Week Finishing School program is for you. The program features lessons, tips, and guides tailored to ladies who want to enter the world of politics, old money, or executive leadership.
This course is not for everyone and is only available in limited quantities to ladies around the world. We want to ensure the highest caliber of personal service is provided to every student.
This 13-week program teaches elite savoir-faire (etiquette, manners, style, customs, diplomatic protocol, and other rules); savoir-être (deportment, expression, consideration, and values); savoir-dire (communication and expression); and savoir-vivre (luxury and elite lifestyles). This program is the ultimate way to refine your life.
Real change takes time. And Balissande gives you that time with its 3+ month program. The school is based off the traditional finishing schools of the past, providing literature and hands-on guidance as well as assignments, quizzes, discussions, and consultations. We focus on the little details... the elements that make a difference.

WEEK 6 QUIZ
This program is taught online in written format with a few videos added for demonstration purposes. It is NOT taught via video presentations or podcasts. This program is also taught in a self-paced format. However, we recommend you take your time and study the lessons. Quizzes are provided at the end of each week. Each must be passed with a grade of 70% before you can proceed to the next lesson.
Yes. The minute you purchase a program, you are automatically enrolled in it. For this reason, we have purposefully made the first two weeks shorter than the rest. We want to give every student, especially those who enrolled spontaneously, time to purchase what will be needed for the program and time to arrange their daily schedule for the next 13 weeks. * Enrollment for this course is open for 100 days (approximately 14 weeks). Enrollment starts the day you purchase the course. We do not offer life-time enrollment. ** A list of what will be needed for the course will be provided after you enroll, on the page titled: What You Will Need.
Yes. We welcome questions. You can ask us questions by sending us a private message. This program also offers private consultations to accompany a few assignments. If you choose to participate in the consultations, we will critique and offer advice specifically tailored to your needs. At that time, you may ask questions too.
Yes and no. Yes, you can move through the program at your own pace. This means you can complete 2 weeks of the program in one week or you can take a week or two off if your schedule is too hectic or if you fall sick. However, we strongly recommend you maintain a weekly schedule. The point of a 13 week program is time. The more time you consciously focus on refinement with the help of the program, the better you will process the information. So, in order to receive a certificate, you cannot rush through the program. For example, you can not complete this 13 week program in 6 weeks and qualify for a certificate. We also recommend you do not take more than one week off. To qualify for the certificate, you must read through all the information, pass the quizzes with a 70% grade, participate in the majority of discussions, and complete the majority of the assignments. It is a lot to do and this program has a closing date. The program starts the minute you enroll and is open to you for 100 days. So, you have 100 days to complete the program.
This program is intermediate level intensity. It will require a lot of reading and time to do the exercises. If you are unable to read for long periods of time, this program is probably not for you. If you are looking for something easy and quick, this program is probably not for you. This program is for serious students who really want to make a change. It is meant for ladies who are able to give 13 weeks of their time to Balissande. Again, the program requires a lot. And although we give students the opportunity to catch up if they take a week or two off, we have found it decreases how much they learn and do. Rushing though the program is not recommended. This program is also meant for students over 21 years old who are in the position to make changes and understand the need for change.
Yes. Students who do not rush through the course, read through all the information, pass the quizzes with a 70% grade, participate in the majority of discussions, and complete the majority of the assignments will have a certificate sent to the postal address they provide.
Yes. This program only teaches Western etiquette, protocol, and deportment. It does NOT cover rules from the East.
Only English. The program is taught in English and we expect all students to write and answer questions in English. This program requires advanced level English, in reading and writing.
This program has a mix of modern and traditional rules and values. When it comes to rules and values, we use the past as our guide. However, a lot has changed over the years. So, we do take those changes into consideration too, when it comes to rules.
